Much of the work of the church is initiated and carried out by Ministry Teams. Most of the teams are always on the look out for more members ... and to join one is one of the very best ways of enjoying church life and making friends quickly. The following is a summary of the Teams and their objectives:

 Christian Education and Nurture
Responsible for the Sunday School program (all ages) and mid-week home and church based Bible study groups ... education resources ... library ... teacher training ... and to build up multi-media equipment (computers, video projection equipment etc).
 Evangelism and Discipleship
This used to be the Membership Team, but its brief is much broader .. to care for people on their journey through an initial interest in God, to a relationship with Christ, to the nurturing of that faith and into responsible and active membership of the church.
 Fellowship
As this is a very diverse church family, the Team has the task of encouraging people to move cross-culturally in their friendships and to help new families make friendships and be assimilated into the church quickly.
 Finance and Property
To manage the finances of the church, which includes budgeting, regular reporting and the responsible handling of offerings. And also working with the property trustees to ensure proper maintenance of the buildings.
Outreach
To develop and fund projects outside of the church, both within and outside of Japan. We are now moving to partnerships in which our congregation has the opportunity to have "hands on" mission experiences. This includes regular work parties to the Philippines and Thailand.
 Pastoral Leadership
Responsible for planning, the spiritual life of the church, pastoral care of the congregation and overseeing of staff, which includes their welfare, evaluations and contracts.
Worship
Providing worship that is honoring to God; that is, high quality, creative, imaginative, and using the giftedness of the congregation.
Youth
Working with the youth director to plan and coordinate all youth programs (middle and high school).
